Responding to customer feedback, Kelty has streamlined the size of their double stroller, whittling 2 ½ inches from the length, and shaving an inch and a half from the width. The result: the Speedster Deuce is even easier to turn and maneuver than last year as popular Deuce Coupe model.

Several features separate the Kelty from others: a fleece lined seat, a one-handed folding system (which makes stroller more compact as well as narrower), water bottles and carriers (doubles as a cell phone carrier), to name just a few. The features and accessories are totally what you'd expect from a backpack maker.

This is a great stroller for the real outdoorsy couple, but maybe not the best stroller for the stereotypical suburban mall lapper.

While this jogger is priced considerably lower than BOB, Baby Jogger, or Dreamer Design models, the standard Speedster doesn't include many of the higher-end features we've come to expect from these other brands. If you're looking for a quality product with a great warranty but very few frills, the Speedster may be the one. |
